With a diverse legal background spanning criminal defense, family law, Social Security Disability advocacy, mental health law, and judicial service, Candice brings both practical courtroom experience and a deep understanding of the challenges facing individuals and families throughout her community.
Before becoming an attorney, Candice worked at the Center for Behavioral Health, helping individuals facing mental health challenges secure stable employment and housing. This experience provided her with a unique perspective on the real-life issues many people encounter and reinforced her commitment to serving others with compassion and respect.
Candice began her legal career as an Assistant Public Defender, where she represented individuals charged with criminal offenses and gained extensive courtroom experience. In this role, she developed strong litigation skills while safeguarding the constitutional rights of those navigating the criminal justice system.

After successfully practicing with Leap Frog Divorce, Candice transitioned back to private practice to re-open her independent firm. This move provides her with the agility and flexibility needed to fully dedicate herself to her campaign while continuing her mission: helping families safely and efficiently resolve sensitive legal issues while fiercely protecting client rights.
